The plan...

So the holidays are almost over, and I've done my fair share of indulging as usual. But now that's all done and it's time to get started on a New Years resolution... an 'actual' New Years resolution. If I'm gonna do this I'm want to go all at it. I've been reading a bunch of articles on bodybuilding.com regarding workouts and nutrition. I've also been reading a bunch of stuff on johnstonefitness.com as well.

With regards to the workout, I'm gonning to try and use one of the routines from an article. I will be posting it one I get it worked out. The plan is to go directly to Gold's Gym after work and workout. In addition, I am planning on doing some sort of cardio in the morning such as walking or jogging around the block.

Regarding nutrition, I plan not to make any dramatic changes to my diet initially. As from my understanding this often make it very hard to stick to and often results in people giving up... which I don't want to do. Instead, I'm planning on taking the same food I'm eating and spreading it out across the day to make more meals. In additonal I'm gonna try & eat healthier, which I've kinda been doing dispite my lack of money. I reverted back to pasta, but am eating the whole wheat pasta.

In addition to this blog... I'd really like to get a membership to sickofbeingfat.net to help track my progress. But alias I don't have $50 to spend on a membershipt to get the invite codes :-(

More to come once I get the details worked out...

----History----
I've tried getting shape before, but have not had much success. One thing or another usually throws me off. I've tried this diet, that diet, home exercise plans, and going to the gym. I had a personal trainer once, a long time ago. But I do enjoy weights when I goto the gym. It's the cardio that usually I fail at and then whole plan goes awry.

I started looking to working out again a little while back, but decided to put if off until after the holidays since that is a hard time stick to a routine. I didn't want to start up and then immediately have a train wreck. Figured I'd let the wreck happen first ;-)
